The Halton Regional Police Services has arrested one male in connection with a stabbing that occurred on Friday, September 7, 2018.

Shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2018, a physical altercation ensued between two patrons at the Kerr Street Pub and Grill, located at 580 Kerr Street, Oakville.

Halton Regional Police Services responded and discovered that both individuals had left the scene prior to police’s arrival.

The investigation revealed the accused had stabbed the male victim multiple times. The victim attended an area hospital and received treatment for serious but non-life threating injuries.

During the early morning hours of Sunday, September 9, 2018, the Halton Regional Police located the accused at a residence in the City of Burlington. He was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing, scheduled for September 9, 2018.

A 22 your-old male of no fixed address has been charged with attempted murder.
