Oakville Galleries is pleased to announce the renewal of its Art for All program, thanks to the generous support of TD Bank Group. This program provides eligible local children with free or highly subsidized placements in Oakville Galleries¹ award-winning art class and camp programs, including PA Day, after-school and Saturday programs, as well as week-long March Break and summer camps.

Families that meet the basic criteria of the program, modeled on the subsidy standards used by municipalities across the province, are invited to register their children in up to $300 of programming per child per season. This is the second year TD has supported this initiative. In 2015, dozens of local families participated in Oakville Galleries¹ art class and camp programs for the first time through Art for All.

“There is no greater priority for us at Oakville Galleries than ensuring every member of our community is able to experience the many benefits of art,” says Elizabeth Underhill, Education Officer at Oakville Galleries. “We know that childhood engagement with art is one of the greatest indicators of healthy development, particularly in areas of problem solving, critical thinking and collaboration. With the support of TD, we are now able to ensure all children in our community have access to these benefits.”

“At TD we invest in communities to make a positive impact. Our gift in support of the TD Art for All program has a focus on creating opportunities for young people. In partnership with Oakville Galleries, we are working to help local children reach their full potential, right here in Oakville,” added Janice Stillo, TD Canada Trust Branch Manager.
