On Friday, June 9, 2017, members of the Halton Regional Police Services’ Oakville Criminal Investigations Bureau located and arrested a third suspect believed to be involved in the robbery of the Guardian Pharmacy located at 1235 Trafalgar Road. The Guardian Pharmacy is located just off White Oaks Blvd, across from Oakville’s Town Hall.

The robbery took place on May 29, 2017 and several victims where sprays with a noxious substance. The victims did not suffer any long term effect. The armed thieves stole cash and prescription drugs.

On May 30, 2017, Halton Regional Police investigators located and arrested several parties in the area of Barton Street and Nash Road in the City of Hamilton in relation to the armed robbery of Guardian Pharmacy. Ryan Wood and Lindsay Reid, both from Hamilton were charged.

The third suspect, Anthony COSIC (18 years) of Hamilton is charged with the following offences.

  1. Robbery with a Firearm
  2. Point Firearm (5 counts)
  3. Administer a Noxious Substance (5 counts)
  4. Forcible Confinement (5 counts)
  5. Assault with a Weapon (5 counts)
  6. Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose (2 counts)
  7. Wear Disguise

COSIC was held in custody for a bail hearing.
