On Thursday February 23rd, 2017 the Halton Regional Police Service responded to a report of a serious injury collision, involving a single motor vehicle at 1150 Gable Drive, in the Town of Oakville. Gable Drive is located in the community of Clearview and exits onto Sheridan Garden Drive close to Ford Drive.

At approximately 11:45 am, a 2011 Honda Accord was exiting the townhouse complex located at 1150 Gable Drive when it lost control and struck a tree.

Two females that were inside the vehicle were transported to Hamilton General Hospital. Early medically assessments deemed one of the females to possibly be suffering from life-altering injuries. Due to the nature of the injuries, the Halton Regional Police Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to assist in the investigation.

Further assessments were conducted of the females and their medical statuses were eventually updated to having suffered from minor injuries. The scene was held for approximately 4 hours for the at-scene collision investigation.

Both females are residents of Oakville. One being 26 years of age and the other being 54 years of age.
