images1Today you’ll you need your winter coat, and possibly boots. If you are traveling make sure to have some salt handy. It will be mainly cloudy with periods of snow mixed with ice pellets beginning this afternoon (take extra caution while driving and check your windshield washer fluid). A 20 km/h wind will be coming from the East with gusts up to 40 by late this afternoon. The expected high is zero.


Bronte Creek Provincial Park:  Experience Homestead Christmas including traditional Christmas games and activities, tours of the elegantly decorated Spruce Lane Farmhouse and seasonal stories and songs in the parlour. Learn about the holiday traditions of the Victorian era!

Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts: The Nutcracker will be performed by theOakville Ballet Company at 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

Oakville Galleries: Fall exhibition opens from 2:30 pm-3:30 pm at by the main entrance to the library Centennial Square, followed by a reception at Oakville Galleries in Gairloch Gardens from 3:30 pm-5:00 pm. A number of the exhibiting artists will present.
