On May 11th, 2014 officers responded to the River Glen Blvd area of Oakville after an alert citizen observed two males breaking into her vehicle.

Two local Oakville youths were arrested and police seized a quantity of electronics and change believed stolen during these entries.

Police determined the accused were responsible for multiple car entries in the surrounding area. It appears the culprits were targeting vehicles that had been left unlocked.

Investigators believe that the accused are responsible for additional car entries and are continuing to investigate.

Investigators ask those, who haven’t yet made a report, to contact Police.

A 14 year old and 16 year old have been charged with the following:

• Trespassing at Night
• Theft Under $5000
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x 2

Their names cannot be released under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
