PET OF THE WEEK: Meet Tofu, a snuggle monster who’s good with other pets

With a little patience, this beautiful girl’s loving nature will shine through

Oakville News, in partnership with Oakville & Milton Humane Society, highlights a special pet in need of adoption every week.

Tofu is an eight-year-old Havanese who was transferred to the Oakville and Milton Humane Society from another organization.

When Tofu first arrived to OMHS, she was extremely timid and scared of people. After plenty of love, attention and care from staff and her foster family, her loving and gentle nature has blossomed.

She loves people and snuggling with them, and also does well with other dogs and cats. She enjoys going for walks and napping on a warm couch or soft bed afterwards.

Tofu would thrive in a home that can help her slowly settle into her new environment and understands her needs.

If this affectionate girl sounds like the perfect companion for you, adopt her at omhs.ca.

If you are interested in the Pet of the Week, please call the Oakville & Milton Humane Society at 905-845-1551 or visit omhs.ca for more information on the adoption process.

If you cannot find this pet’s profile on the OMHS website, then the pet has been adopted. Please consider adopting another one of their furry friends.
