Oakville News, in partnership with Oakville & Milton Humane Society, highlights a special pet in need of adoption every week.
Tyrone (grey) and Winnie (orange) are 12-year-old Oriental cats transferred to our shelter from another organization.
Tyrone is a sweet but shy boy who’s nervous in new surroundings. It may take some time for him to come out of his shell, but with a little patience his gentle and love personality shines through.
By contrast, Winnie is outgoing and loves the spotlight. He often greets people with a meow, headbutt and a rub against their leg – always eager for pets.
Thanks to Winnie’s courageous leadership, Tyrone is becoming more confident and showing curiosity about the world beyond his cozy bed.
Together, these kitties are sure to keep your lap warm and your heart full. If they’d be an ideal addition to your home, adopt them at omhs.ca.
If you are interested in the Pet of the Week, please call the Oakville & Milton Humane Society at 905-845-1551 or visit omhs.ca for more information on the adoption process. If you cannot find this pet’s profile on the OMHS website, then the pet has been adopted. Please consider adopting another one of their furry friends.
