Oakville News, in partnership with Oakville & Milton Humane Society, highlights a special pet in need of adoption every week.
Beansprout had a rough start to life, but is now flourishing and would love to bring his adorable presence to your home.
Coming to the shelter from a puppy mill and healed from some severe wounds to his legs, this one year old loves going for walks – especially when a game of fetch with a tennis ball comes into play.
Beansprout has built up quite a collection of baseballs found in the nearby park, with nine amassed to date.
Just as affectionate as he is playful, Beansprout enjoys being held and petted. Still in his learning phase, he’d be well suited to a dog-experienced home with older children.
While he’s good with cats, Beansprout isn’t a big fan of other dogs and would needs to be the only pooch in the family.
If this friendly, loving pup sounds ideal for your home, adopt them at omhs.ca.
If you are interested in the Pet of the Week, please call the Oakville & Milton Humane Society at 905-845-1551 or visit omhs.ca for more information on the adoption process. If you cannot find this pet’s profile on the OMHS website, then the pet has been adopted. Please consider adopting another one of their furry friends.
