Rachel Leang, Director of Digital Media at the Oakville Chamber of Commerce, was named Staff Person of the Year at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada AGM this month.
This national recognition, awarded during the AGM attended by chambers across the country, celebrates Rachel’s exceptional contributions to the Oakville Chamber and her role in transforming its communication and engagement strategies.
Since joining the Chamber in August 2021, Rachel has led several important projects, including a full re-branding across digital platforms that significantly boosted member engagement on Instagram and LinkedIn.
Her innovative efforts in creating the Chamber Holiday Guide and Awards Show Guide have also generated new revenue for the Chamber, while her leadership in the Members of the Chamber podcast series has enhanced member connection and visibility.
