Glen Abbey Golf Club has officially confirmed its full reopening will be tomorrow following a massive flood that overtook the course exactly one week ago.

Glen Abbey Golf Club has officially confirmed its full reopening will be tomorrow, following a massive flood that overtook the course exactly one week ago.

According to the club's director of operations, Allan Huibers, the course will open all 18 holes this Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

Huibers said, "It was an incredible team effort" to reopen the course, requiring lots of collaboration, including help from staff at RattleSnake Point Golf Club in Milton, and many hours of hard work.

Between the initial flooding on July 16 and the following two days, Glen Abbey saw significant improvement in water levels, and golfers have been playing over the last week. However, they had to avoid certain holes.

The club did not provide any information regarding damage estimates, or if any additional work still needs to be done.
