Santa Claus and his reindeer were lucky this morning as not a drop of rain was in sight for Oakville's 2024 Santa Claus Parade.
The parade took place on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024 in Downtown Oakville and Kerr Village. Santa's journey began at Lakeshore Rd East and Reynolds St and ended near Kerr St and Stewart St.
Of course, Santa wasn't the only one present at the parade. Many Oakville based organizations, politicians and local groups took part in the festive spectacle, greeting the happy crowds who came to see them.
This is Oakville's 76th Santa Claus Parade, with its first parade taking place in 1948, as a way to support local businesses in downtown Oakville.
