Yesterday, Oakville celebrated as 38 people officially became Canadian citizens during a ceremony at Town Hall.

Held yesterday afternoon, on Oct. 17, 2024, the town hosted a citizenship ceremony welcoming these new Canadians into the community.

In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), the Town of Oakville shared, "Congratulations to these new Canadians as they embark on their journey to becoming part of our vibrant and inclusive community."

Said Oakville MP Anita Anand, "I am thrilled to welcome 38 new Canadian citizens to Oakville - a testament to the diverse and vibrant community we continue to build together."

"Each of you bring unique experiences, skills, and perspectives that enrich our town and strengthen our shared future. Congratulations on achieving this important milestone, and thank you for choosing to make Oakville and Canada your home."
