Niagara divers celebrate Halloween with underwater pumpkin carving

A large 80+ pounds pumpkin was settled on top of the wreck at the Welland Scuba Park

The Niagara Divers Association (NDA) held their annual pumpkin carving event on Sunday at the Welland Scuba Park, featuring four local divers.

For the first time, a large 80+ pounds pumpkin was settled to the bottom, on top of the wreck in the underwater park. Four divers carved on the sides of this pumpkin.

Other divers also carved their own pumpkins during the event. This years event honoured fellow diver, Jimmy Lockard, who passed away recently.
