The Oakville community hosted the Walk for Muscular Dystrophy at Coronation Park on Sunday, inviting everybody to take part and recognize a cause that affects millions everyday. The day started with registrations, commenced with the walk, which took place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., continuing into a prize raffle with free lunch and t-shirt sales. Hoping to spread awareness and understanding, Muscular Dystrophy Canada is working its way to assist those with neuromuscular disorders. Don’t take your muscles for granted.
