Halton Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Oakville on Jan. 27, 2025, at approximately 5:45 a.m. Three male suspects allegedly forcibly entered the Vape Hut store located at the corner of Martindale Avenue and Queensbury Crescent.
According to police, the suspects attached a chain to their trailer hitch and used it to pull the front door off its hinges, gaining entry to the business.
Once inside, the suspects, all dressed in black clothing with their faces covered, allegedly began to load bins and garbage bags with products from the store's shelves. They also emptied the cash register before fleeing the scene, police say.
The suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of goods. No arrests have been made at this time, and police continue to search for the individuals involved.
