Oakville Public Library (OPL) has announced that their central branch location at 120 Navy Street is closed due to flooding.
"We are actively assessing the damage and will provide updates as soon as possible," OPL said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
The library announced the closure on Monday night, Oct. 14, 2024.
No updates have been provided since then regarding the building’s status.
OPL staff are asking anyone planning to visit a library to check their website for a list of open locations.
