Glen Abbey Petro Canada robbed - 23 year-old charged

On Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at 3:25 am, the Halton Regional Police Service was called to the Petro Canada gas station located at 1550 North Service Road West in Oakville. It was in response to a robbery. A 23 year-old man was charged.

The gas station is located at the North East corner of Dorval Drive and North Service Road West in Glen Abbey.

Halton Regional Police responded to the area and located the accused, a 23 year-old man from Burlington who was walking down the street.  Officers quickly confirmed the man to be the suspect and he was placed under arrest.

Also the 23 year-old suspect was found to be in possession of a pellet gun and a knife. He has been charged with the following offences:

Robbery

Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

Carry a concealed weapon

Wear a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence
