Artworks Oakville is celebrating art and artists with their 15th Annual Juried Art Show which runs from April 23 - May 16, 2014 in the Gallery (Rm A076) at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre (QEPCCC) - 2302 Bridge Rd in Oakville. This popular event showcases an amazing collection of pieces created by both local artists and artists from other communities who share their talents through a variety of mediums including paint, sculpture, photography, sketch and more.

Jurors for this years show are two accomplished Ontario artists - Diane White Beatty and Margaret Glew. The jurors will review the many entry pieces and select those to be exhibited in the gallery. Most of the works will be for sale and art lovers are encouraged to visit the gallery during the show to view the amazing works of the many emerging talented artists.

2013 Jurors Eileen Menzel and Kal Honey had this to say about their experience with the show:

"One look around at the 105 works submitted and we knew we were in for a challenging day. The quality was exceptionally high and arriving at the 49 works accepted necessitated many hair-splitting debates. It is a testament to the vibrancy of Oakville's visual arts community that work of such varied approach should be of such consistently high quality. Truthfully, this show would have been extremely strong had twice the number of works been accepted."

ArtWorks Oakville Association is a volunteer art group that has beautified Oakville by celebrating the arts and emerging local talent. Artworks offers several exhibition locations in the Oakville and surrounding area for their membership throughout the year.
