Halton Police is investigating a break-in at a home in Oakville’s Bronte neighbourhood that occurred while no one was home.

According to police, the incident took place between March 2 and March 5 at 9:00 p.m. at a residence near Bronte Road and Waterford Street. The suspect or suspects forced entry through a ground-floor rear window, breaking the glass to gain access.

Multiple rooms in the home were rummaged through, and police believe that jewellery was the primary target. Police have not yet determined the full list of stolen items.

There is no suspect information at this time.
