Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle crash at a Tim Hortons location on Lakeshore Road West this morning, September 25, 2024.
At approximately 8:20 a.m., Halton Police, Oakville Fire crews and Halton Paramedics were called to the scene after a vehicle struck the corner of the building at 2303 Lakeshore Road West. Police reported that the building sustained minor damage.
A female driver was identified, though police have yet to release details about the cause of the crash or any potential charges.
Halton Police Media Relations Officer Jeff Dillon told reporters that there was no indication of any injuries.
According to Deputy Fire Chief Dan Boyer, the call was downgraded after the first truck arrived on scene and the incident was "very minor in nature."
Town engineers arrived to assess the building for structural damage and determined that the building was safe for continued operation.
