Health Canada has issued a public warning about unauthorized sexual enhancement products seized from stores in Ontario and Alberta, including in Oakville.
Many of the products, which may pose serious health risks, were found to contain sildenafil and tadalafil, ingredients typically used to treat erectile dysfunction.
Of the stores listed, Oakville's Bronte Variety, located at 2393 Lakeshore Road West, was one of the retailers identified.
A product with similar packaging to Royal Honey VIP, previously tested by Health Canada, was found to contain sildenafil and was subsequently seized from the Oakville store.
Health Canada maintains lists of unauthorized health products that may pose serious health risks so that the public can easily identify those they may have purchased and take appropriate action.
