Over $5,000 in jewellery stolen during Oakville home break-in

Police say suspects broke rear sliding door and searched bedrooms

Halton Police are investigating a break-in at a home near Westoak Trails Boulevard and Calloway Drive, where suspects targeted jewellery, causing losses estimated at over $5,000.

According to police, the incident occurred between Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025 and Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025.

The suspect or suspects allegedly gained entry by breaking a rear sliding glass door before rummaging through the bedrooms. A full accounting of the stolen items has yet to be determined.

No suspect descriptions have been released, and the investigation is ongoing, police say.
