Police investigate break-in at a vacant Oakville home

Copper tubing and air conditioning unit were stolen from a house in a residential neighbourhood.

Halton Police are looking into a break-in that occurred in an Oakville residence while it was empty.

According to police, the home, which is located near the intersection of Stanfield Drive and Samway Road, had its copper tubing and air conditioning unit stolen. The copper tubing that was reportedly cut out was connected to the residential home's furnace.

It is unclear when the incident occurred and how entry was gained, police say. 

No suspect information as been released, nor the value of the items stolen.
