Police investigate storage locker break-in in Oakville

Police say no items were stolen, but damage was done to doors and walls

Halton Police are investigating a break-in at a storage locker facility here in Oakville.

The facility, near the intersection of Woody Road and Speers Road, occurred between 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, and 9:30 a.m. two weeks ago, on Monday, Feb. 10, 2025.

According to police, the suspect caused damage to a door to gain access to the building, before entering a vacant storage unit. Once inside, the individual allegedly attempted to break into an adjacent unit but was unsuccessful.

Police reported that the suspect caused damage to the wall in the process, though no further access was gained.

At this time, there are no reports of any items being stolen from the unit. No description of the suspect has been revealed either.
