As of today, Monday, Nov. 18, the HRPS has received exactly 40 complaints of fraudulent or non existent tickets involving the same vendor.

So far, the estimated total of the undelivered tickets is greater than $70,000.

The HRPS Financial Crimes Unit is investigating these occurrences. As of today, there have been no arrests made.

If there are any residents of Halton Region who have become a victim of these fraudulent tickets, you can call the Halton Police's non-emergency number at 905 825 4777.

Halton residents are advised to use extreme caution when buying tickets and be weary of the vendor you purchase them from.
