$5,000 in goods taken during Oakville grocery store robbery

Police say the suspect stole more than $5,000 worth of grocery items

Halton Police are searching for a suspect after a grocery store was robbed in the late evening last week.

On Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, between 1:45 a.m. to 3:00 a.m, police say the suspect forced entry into Freshway Market, on Iroquois Shore Road and Trafalgar Road in Oakville.

In the indicent's report, officials say the front door's glass panel was reported removed to gain entry.

Police say more than $5,000 of various grocery items were taken.

The suspect was reported to be wearing a sweater, sweat pants, a black baseball hat and white running shoes.
