Halton Regional Police responded to 35 crime incidents in Oakville from Feb. 5 to 11, 2025. Crime numbers dropped by 39.2 per cent.
Sunday, February 9, was the busiest day, with nine reported incidents. College Park and Old Oakville residents reported most crimes in this period (six in total).
In addition, nine incidents of vehicle thefts were reported.
In the past seven days, Halton Police responded to six break-ins at residences. If this rate stayed consistent, there would be 432 incidents a year. Over the last 30 days, there have been 30 break-ins at residences throughout the neighbourhood.
Over the last six months, 145 break-ins at residences in Oakville were reported. In the past year, there were 243.
